1. Purpose
XploriaBCN (website and mobile app) is a cultural and historical service to discover places, activities and points of interest, notably around Barcelona and its surroundings.
2. Access to the service
- Some features may require creating a user account (on the website or in the app).
- You must have a compatible device and internet access. Connection costs are your responsibility.
- Access may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, service evolution, or force majeure.
3. User account
- Creating an account requires a valid email address and password.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity under your account.
- You may request deletion of your account at any time (from the app or by email to contact@xploriabcn.es).
4. Location and permissions
- Location (if you allow it on your device or browser) is used to show nearby activities and indicative distances.
- You can disable location at any time; some features will be limited.
5. Content and intellectual property
- Website and app content (texts, images, videos, logos, icons, design, code) is protected by copyright and applicable laws.
- Images are royalty-free or used under license/authorization; photo credits are indicated where appropriate.
- Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, adaptation, distribution or exploitation of content is forbidden.
6. Prohibited behavior
- Any fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory use or use harming the publisher, users or third parties.
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems, code, databases or APIs.
- Unauthorized mass data extraction, scraping or automation of the website and/or app.
7. Third-party services
XploriaBCN relies on third-party services (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting, authentication and database, and mapping services). Use of these services is subject to the providers’ terms and privacy policies.
8. Liability
- Information is provided for guidance only. Despite due care, the publisher does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of content.
- The publisher shall not be liable for service unavailability, data loss, damage resulting from a third-party service, or indirect damages.
9. Termination and account deletion
- You may delete your account at any time.
- In case of breach of the Terms, the publisher may suspend or terminate access to the website and/or app.
10. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be amended at any time for legal, technical or service-evolution reasons. In case of a material change, notice may be provided via the website, the app or email. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Personal data
Rules applicable to the collection and processing of personal data (website and app) are described in XploriaBCN’s Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent French courts.
